Guitar & Synth

Marek Schneider

Marek Schneider developed a strong passion for guitar at the age of 8 years old. As a  former Czechoslovakian native, he learned his passion for music which evolved into a love for multi-instrumental music, music writing and later on, music production. He played in several bands since his teenage years. One of them went by the name Nemesis, which had released few demos, compilations and a debut album titled Temptation by Reflex Records (EMI). Later on, as a producer, he worked on metal production projects as well as playing with a  few Indie/Rock and electronic bands.

In 1995, Schneider expanded his music production work and started releasing titles under Schneider Music record label. Soon after, Schneider relocated to the United States and several years later he met Luis Bonilla (with whom he later on created The VON.) Bonilla and Schneider started recording ideas, and soon developed, The VON.

Since then, The VON has independently released their EP titled Protagonist in 2012. In 2014, they released a brand new album produced by Bonilla with Schneider’s co-production, mixed and mastered by Grammy award winning engineer Carlos “El Loco” Bedoya. In the beginning of 2015, the VON released their first single titled Nothing to Fear, soon to be followed by other single releases this year. The band is currently performing and getting ready for a 2016 National and International tour.
